For our family of five, with a bed-wetting, mud-playing boy, a bug-seeking diva princess, and a troublesome two year old we do about 7-10 loads a week. Unless we've been to the beach . . .

yikes....family of 5 - husband who works in construction (drywall), 3 girls who insist on changing their clothes 3x a day, AND we're avid runners/cyclists which means lots of gentle care athletic gear. we do about 15-20 loads of laundry a week (less now that I don't have to wash cloth diapers anymore, I used cloth for all three) - more if we've gone camping, we all know that you have to wash everything a couple of times to get the camping out of the clothes! and our trips are usually a week or more. which reminds me....I need to start a load.

I have a family of 6, two of them girls, a teen and a tween...the other two boys! I do two loads of laundry every day, and some days more. It is never ALL done at once. So it is safe to say I have about 14-20 loads per week. I have gone through 2 washers and one dryer in the past 8 years!

For just my husband, myself,and our toddler I end up washing about 10 loadds of laundry. 2 loads for my husband's work clothes, 3 for colors, 2 for whites, 1 for sheets, and 2 for towels. And to beat all I try to do it between the hours of 8pm and 11am to help out with energy costs.

Between my two little dirt-magnetic, grass crawling, playground loving, changing clothes at least twice a day little girls...then include a boyfriend that lays flooring for a living and 2 dogs that seem to love to jump up and get ya dirty I'd say I do at *minimum* 5 loads of laundry a week!! (Sunlight is my absolute fave laundry soap...I do not use anything other than it!!!!)

I do about 7 loads a week: white, med. and dark for hubby and me, 2 loads of kiddy clothes and 2 loads of towels and linens. Sunlight is the only detergent I can use, as any others I've tried make me break out in a terrible rash
