We’re enjoying a family reunion with many of my aunts and cousins, and we took our 2 year old blueberry picking! What a wonderful thing to do with all the kids. Our toddler really enjoyed herself. She was so excited about having her own cup for the berries and choosing her own to pick. Her older cousins showed her how to pick only the best and bluest. Of course, for every one that ended up in her bucket at least two went into her mouth, but thats part of the fun!
We ended up with over 15 lbs of blueberries, and now we’re eating berries in our salads and our cereal… and we’re about to eat some yummy blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream.
