Reading together

Reading together

A Sunny Summer Reading Spot

A Sunny Summer Reading Spot

Summer Reading: One of the best parts of summer is just hanging around with a good book (or magazine). The kids found the perfect spot, the hammock hanging on the hidden back deck.

Canada Day flags

Canada Day flags

Celebrating Canada Day: We followed Allie’s fantastic craft idea from her blog Don’t Eat the Paint (well, two of my three kids did. My son was too busy trying to finish he Indiana Jones Lego Temple. And crafts really aren’t his thing). The kids added their own personal touches and we taped straws to the side to make flags for waving.

Wishing you and your family a Happy Canada Day!
