Everywhere you look, you see the buzzwords: Influential Mom Bloggers. These moms are often hand-selected by brands to report to their peers – moms, who make the majority of buying decisions in today’s modern families – about which products and services are worth their time, support and money, and which ones, um, aren't.

These influential moms are often chosen based upon their demographics, like where they live and their incomes, and how popular they might be, based on the numbers of subscribers to their blog or comments they often receive, and how many followers they might have on common social media sites, like Twitter.

EverythingMom doesn’t think that influential moms are born from numbers.

We see influential moms who consider relationships the most important factor everywhere: they tell stories and share their lives with their readers and followers, they inspire and support, live authentic lives laced with ups and downs, celebrate triumphs and mourn losses, and they build strong ties within the blogging community via support, communication, honesty, engagement and authenticity.

We want those mom bloggers in our exclusive Mom Influencer program – those who are creating an honest, passionate sphere of influence within the community. Could you be the next influential mom blogger?

We think so. You don’t have to be as popular as Dooce, or labeled powerful and influential in print to qualify. EverythingMom wants Mom Influencers exactly like you: honest, busy, imperfect and doing what you’re already doing – raising a family without a rulebook.

What do Mom Influencers do?
If you’re chosen to be part of this exclusive club, you’ll get the chance to review products and services selected by EverythingMom, made by the brands that are seeking feedback from the mom community. You’ll be privy to special giveaways and coupons, and you’ll get to share your honest, unbiased reviews on your blog.

How does the program work?
It’s five easy steps:

1. Join this group to become a Mom Influencer for EverythingMom. Review opportunities will be posted there as well as announced in our newsletter.
2. You’ll decide whether you’d like to review the product or pass. Should you choose to apply for the opportunity, you will complete a form including your shipping address etc.
3. If you’re going to review the product, you’ll be sent your own, to keep – don’t worry about returning anything.
4. You’ll review the product on your blog, ensuring that you’ve clearly disclosed in your post that the review was provided by EverythingMom.
5. Once your review is published, EverythingMom’s review editor will check out your post, and will link to various reviews for each product on EverythingMom. While not all of the reviews written by Mom Influencers will be linked, that doesn’t affect whether you get to keep the products.

Why should you become a Mom Influencer?
Even though the UPS delivery person only seems to stop by your home just after you’ve gotten out of the shower, you still enjoy getting packages in the mail and tearing them open faster than you can order a triple-grandé latte with foam.

You love sharing your opinions with the mommy blogging community and you try to project a positive, uplifting presence, while creating powerful, thought-provoking posts on your blog.
