I have recently learned about toxin products and have thrown almost everything out of my home. From sprays to toothpaste, products without the ingredients such as Ecover which has a lot of toxin according to the ingredients on their website. Also it is good to look on youtube to find out how you can make your own personal products like toothpaste and so forth.

Here's a good video that I came across and there are quite a few comments about it,just click this video to go directly to youtube and you will see the comments.

My name is Nickie Knight and I am the founder and publisher of HipMomsGoGreen. I combined a nursing degree from The University of Virginia and an innate love of research to tremendous effect in my personal life by minimizing my children’s severe health issues through alterations to my family’s diet and environment. Those personal successes proved to me the symbiotic relationship between healthy children and healthy surroundings, and generated marked interest from eco-minded moms nationwide. My focus is on simplifying the process of going green so that moms are undaunted by the task of creating a healthier world for themselves and their children. Discover the green life!

I've tried Melaleuca products and love their toothpaste and dishwashing soap, but cannot stand the smell of their tub & tile cleaner nor their dishwasher detergent.

I was hoping to be able to get everything in one brand, but I haven't had any luck.

Here are some of my favourites:
Moisturizer: Green Beaver- nice and light and doesn't feel greasy
Body lotion: Burt's Bees or Jason
lipbalm- Burt's Bees
Deodorant: Dr. Mist
Laundry detergent- I don't actually use this any more. I use laundry magnets. I use natural bleaches and stain removers like from Nature Clean when necessary
Toothpaste:Melaleuca fluoride free cinnamon / Jason's
Dishwasher detergent: Nature clean or Ecover
