new to the group....I'm a reader....always have been and probably always will be. lol I read about 5 novels a week. and am starting my daughters on the path to being readers as well. just finished The Awakening and The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong (ts a teen genre supernatural). light but good reading. about to start the Poisonwood bibles.

I've read Catcher in the Rye, it was pretty good. When it comes to "clasics," I loved 1984.

I finished Water for Elephants a few months back snf thought that was a pretty good book. I'm reading Catcher in the Rye and Revolutionary Road now.

Hey! Some books I loved reading were A Prayer for Owen Meany, The Glass Castle, and The Memory Keeper's Daughter. Just finished a really light read - The Last Summer of You and I... good read, though.
