This is our final issue of our RVing series in partnership with Go RVing Canada . This week we are focusing on the "where" of RVing. We will offer some great ideas on where you can go with your family this summer. Enjoy!
Explore Canada, province by province, in your RV. Try RVing your way across Canada. It’s a big country and there is so much to see, but a trip in an RV can be a journey of new discoveries each time. You can plan to visit a new part of the country in your RV - even just getting there will be an adventure in itself. Pick a new province to explore and start planning your next get-away.
Take in different cultural experiences along the way. When you plan your trip you can make the whole journey a learning experience. Take a break from the driving by stopping at museums and historical sites along the way. If you consult the provincial tourist offices and their websites, and make plans to see an historical re-enactment, which makes learning history a new and memorable experience for the whole family. Check for dates of festivals, celebrations and events taking place during the summer months and watch out for local foods and specialty dishes you can try that might be unique to that part Canada.
Visit other cities and see the sites. Have fun and visit Canada’s famous tourist sites and attend those big events in other cities. How about a trip to the Calgary Stampede or Quebec City’s Winter Carnival? Maybe attend the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto or Montreal’s famous summer jazz festival. Have you experienced the old-fashioned quaintness and wonderful gardens of Victoria, B.C., seen the Dinosaurs at Drumheller in Alberta, or visited the historic Bluenose at its mooring in Nova Scotia? Well, start a list so that you can work some of them in to your next RV vacation.
