Hi, When I was 19 I lost a baby at 8 weeks. A few months later I lost a set of twins(girls). It was the hardest thing I have ever gone through. One baby had stopped developing at 16 weeks. The other continued untill 21 weeks then her tiny heart stopped and I had to deliver my angel baby. Emily. A few years later My husband and I got pregnant again and we werwe expecting twins again. Again one stopped developing early on. The other twin was fine. He is now our energetic 4 year old Ethan. The E in his name is for our lost Emily. In that pregnancy I was terrified every single day!! I was in the high risk unit twice a week for the entire pregnancy. Ultrasounds every week. I had gestational diabetes, a blood infection, severe pre eclampsia. When he was born he was blue and had his twins placenta wrapped aropund his neck. But moments later he was fine and beautiful!! he had jaundis but other than that he has been fine! We had our second son with less problems. It was a single pregnancy and he was fine!!! I had gestational diabetes again and poly hydramnios (painfull excess of amniotic fluid) but he was born with no complications. Other than he wanted out!!! My 2 sons were worn 2 weeks apart. They were both born at 37 weeks. They were both 7 lbs 4oz and 19 1/2 inches. They both have only one dimple. Aidans is on the left and Ethans is on the right. Its funny how thing work out. We feel very blessed to have our boys. we had planned one having one more and everyone told us not to and that we would be pushing our luck. I went and had a pap before trying again and thats when they found the cancer. We have what we were meant to have.
