Adding Google AdSense to Your Blog

If you are taking part in our Revenue Sharing Program, this is how to add Google AdSense to your free blog @EverythingMom.com

First, you need to create a blog.  You can find that link on the main blog page.  To access your your blog dashboard, click "Manage my Blog" on the main blog page when you are logged in.  From there, you can follow these steps to set up Google AdSense on your blog.

1. Click "Appearance" in the left hand column
2. Click "Widgets"
3. Click "Add" beside Google Adsense
4. Title your ads.  (Make sure to follow Google's Policy on what you name your ads.  NOT Featured Sites etc...)
5. In the "google_ad_client" box, enter your publisher id (will look like this:  pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)
6. Choose an EverythingMom.com approved ad size (see below)
7. Enter the appropriate dimensions and ad format information
8. Choose your ad type (image, text or text_image)
9. Choose your colors.  Leave this area alone if you are not familiar with color codes (or you can check here for some color codes >>)
10. Click DONE

That's it - you should now see Google Ads in your sidebar on your blog!

Here are our colours for reference:

beige: eff2d3
light blue: c8e3d0
dark blue: 583c23
pink/orange: c1614b
brown: 583c23
